The importance of a home inspection should not be overlooked by potential home buyers who are planning to make the largest investment of their lives.  Home buyers should proceed with such investments only after knowing and understanding the dwelling in which they are interested in.

The "T.I.S." inspection involves the evaluation of the following:

The inspections are performed by: "CERTIFIED HOME INSPECTORS" through the Home Inspection Institute of America, Yalesville, Connecticut, and are active members of the Society of Professional Real Estate Inspectors (SPREI).

We work with a code of ethics, providing the customer with an honest portrayal of what was visually inspected, clear and concise written reports, cost estimates where applicable and a detailed summary to the premises to which they are seeking residency.

The home inspection is not complete until both T.I.S. and the prospective home buyer are satisfied with their walk through.  There is no set time limit, but allow approximately 3 hours to complete the inspection and a summarization of both the good areas and the areas needing attention.

The prospective home buyer is encouraged to ask questions and stop the inspector at any time if further explanation is required or additional concerns arise.  Remember, T.I.S. is representing your best interests in this important investment, so open two-way communication will lead to a successful partnership and many years of happiness in the new home.
